Your experiences are your passion, your personal statement. You spend time creating great, thoughtful reviews about them. Shouldnt your reviews count more than those who write them as an afterthought? We think so. LocalDNA is a new type of review app that takes your reviews and our algorithms to rank places in an intelligent way. You win because honesty, thoughtfulness, and sustained effort are rewarded with greater say in ranking outcomes. Everyone else wins because over time, authenticity rises: we all get greater accuracy for the experiences we seek while business owners get better signals about how theyre doing.

The LocalDNA app takes a lot of its cues from the behavioral sciences. Its also easy to use!

1. Click the place you want to review at the Checkin screen. Only those who checkin to a place can review that place.
2. Rate the place on a scale of 1 -10.
3. Select a category for the place.
4. Write a textual review. You have 200 characters so focus on the one or two things that really stand out!
5. Write reviews in the moment. If you dont publish within FOUR hours after checkin, that review disappears forever.

There are a lot of things you can review, like:
- Restaurants
- Bars
- Hotels
- Nightclubs
- Parks
- And much more!

- Follow people and stay up to date on their reviews
- People can follow you so you share your experiences with the world.

Want to give others a helpful FYI? You can do that too!
- Write a status: whats happening at the place youre at right now. E.g. "Lines have shortened. Only 5 min. to get in!" or "Todays special is Mirliton soup."
- Your statuses also disappear in FOUR hours. Feel free to write as many statuses as you like at the place youre at.
- Your friends can also see your statuses, not just your reviews.
